If you are 16 and under and have always wanted to learn to play a musical instrument, vocal lessons or music engineering, well this is your chance, with our free music lessons.

Learn Music For Free CIC have teamed up with Dudley Innovation Fund, Tamo Music and ACCN to provide children from the age of 4 -16 yrs old the opportunity to learn music for free.

Learn Music is based at the ACCN Centre, Abberley Street in Dudley, West Midlands.

Set up by Errol Melbourne, the school aims to teach children and young people to learn music – free of charge – to combat high prices of music lessons and the youths not having things to do to keep them off the streets.

It is all about getting people to come to the school and learn music for free (we initially run the programme for parents who can’t pay the high prices of music tuition).

Children can learn instruments right across the board – keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, percussion.

The high costs of music lesson, then especially if you want to take into account exams can cost anything between £100-£135.

The school is open for children aged 4 to 16 years old and we do also provide paid lessons for children and adults too.

Learning to play a musical instrument is a really important skill but so often parents are priced out of giving their children this opportunity. This is why our music school is crucial in giving young people these important skills.

Having developed his skills working with the big names of Jamaican and British reggae, Errol Melbourne wants to pass his knowledge on to a new generation of musicians. This is how Learn Music For Free went from dream to reality.

Errol Melbourne, a drummer known in the music circle as Tama, is the founder and head tutor for Learn Music For Free.

Music is something that we all love passionately and by giving youths the opportunity to learn could change their lives positively and even become global stars.
